Who We Are

NVSINO stands for "Not Vegan Is Not OK." With our bold name, we aim not only to attract attention but also to educate effectively. It immediately evokes emotions, which motivates people to learn more and question their behavior.
We want to bring animal rights and veganism into the mainstream. As people living vegan, we demand the immediate abolition of animal abuse for food, clothing, animal testing, entertainment, etc. In doing so, we focus on two areas: showing people WHY they should live vegan and teaching them HOW they can live according to their own conviction that animals are not commodities.

What we do

We create campaigns and viral content that entertains, shakes up, and encourages the mainstream to see veganism as the new norm. The effectiveness of our NVSINO street demonstrations lies in two aspects:

1. On-site education: People can talk to us face-to-face about veganism, clarify individual questions and concerns directly, and get helpful information for transitioning.

2. The media component: This is our clear focus; our motto is "Content First." We see media documentation and dissemination, e.g., via social media, as the currently strongest lever for social education and change. Specifically, this means that we film our street conversations and share them via channels such as @diemilitanteveganerin and @derveganist.

Why our actions belong in public

What humans do to other animals is the greatest injustice in existence. Animals are currently treated like commodities and objects, even though they share the decisive characteristics for ethical consideration with us: they too are sentient and have their own interests.
Our confrontational yet constructive actions provide the media with clear statements, comprehensible facts, and real insights into conversations that would otherwise not take place in everyday life. Every report contributes to the necessary social change. Most people are against slaughterhouses but finance them nonetheless. Help us show them how they can align their consumption with their own values and live vegan!

Why vegan?

Our Founders

Raffaela Raab

Raffaela worked as a doctor when she realized that the enslaved "farm animals" are sentient, just like her patients. This realization led her to become vegan and actively involved in animal rights at the end of 2020. After a few months of street activism, she decided to share her emotional encounters online in the form of TikTok videos, reaching millions. As Die Militante Veganerin, Raffaela has elevated radical animal rights activism in the German-speaking world to a new level.

Tobias Neuschulte

After deciding he no longer wanted to be part of the animal-abusing system, Tobi got involved in street activism, where he also met Raffaela. He quickly realized that street activism alone was not enough without media presence, so in 2023, he started publishing videos as Der Veganist on various social media platforms. As a vegan strength athlete, he particularly inspires many men to redefine their image of strength and masculinity.
