Vegan Clothing

What clothing is vegan?
The most common non-vegan materials are leather, fur, and wool. As vegans, we also do not use cashmere, mohair, angora, silk, horn, bone, and mother-of-pearl. Instead, you can opt for cotton, polyester, or faux leather, for example—just as stylish and without animal abuse!

Vegan Cosmetics

Which cosmetics are vegan?
If you are looking for vegan makeup, vegan shampoo, vegan shower gel, etc., there are two things to keep in mind: First, animal-based ingredients such as beeswax or milk components may be included. Second, “vegan” does not automatically mean that a product is cruelty-free. To be on the safe side, look for the Vegan Society's Vegan Flower 🌻 and the ⓥ-Label (see image) or the PETA list.

Vegan Cleaning Supplies

Which cleaning products are vegan?
Just like with cosmetics: cleaning products should not contain any animal ingredients such as tallow or milk protein, and they should not be tested on animals. Brands that combine both of these criteria include Homethings, Bio-D, Aspen Clean, Blueland, Koala Eco, SimplyClean (uncommissioned advertising).

Vegan Leisure

What leisure activities are vegan?
Animals are abused in zoos, circuses aquariums etc. for entertainment purposes!

Instead of harassing caged birds, you can exercise in the park and then admire the free birds during a vegan picnic. You can also go to the cinema (please only watch films where no animals were harmed on set), where the popcorn is usually vegan, visit a sanctuary, or go hiking.
